nickelcobalt: textbook: just shot this on our rooftop, we live several blocks north of ground zero.  every year when these beams go up it takes me straight back to 2001.  i was sitting in my ap u.s. history class and was only a junior in high school…never forget. middle school. gym. they wouldn’t tell us what happened, they took a couple of kids out of class and we found out later it was because their parents worked there. my friend is going to new jersey, she says she just can’t be in the city that day.
